What the app stores
Weightmark stores what you enter on your device: your weight entries, their dates and notes, and your profile (name, height, date of birth, goal weight, units) and appearance settings. These power your history, graph, streak, goal and BMI.
Weightmark has no account. It does not send any of this to the developer or to any server, and it has no advertising, tracking or analytics. It does not use Apple Health.
Storage and backups
Your records live in the app's local storage on your iPhone. Weightmark has no cloud sync or backup service of its own. Depending on your settings, your iPhone's backups (for example iCloud Backup) may include the app's data and restore it with your device; Apple and your device settings control those backups.
The app does not add its own encryption on top of your iPhone's. Use your iPhone's passcode and security features to protect it.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, and edit or delete any weight entry in History. Deleting the app removes its data from that iPhone; earlier device backups may still hold a copy. Because nothing is sent to the developer, lost records cannot be recovered by the developer.
If you email support
If you write to gwtmlabs@gmail.com, the developer and Google (which provides Gmail) receive your email address and whatever you include. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to help you, and you can ask for yours to be deleted. Please don't send your weight history or other sensitive details unless they're needed.
Health information
Weightmark is a personal tracking tool. Its BMI information is general screening information; it does not diagnose any condition or provide treatment. Talk to a qualified healthcare professional about health decisions.
Changes
If the app's data practices change, this page will be updated along with its effective date.
